Aloe reitzii

Overview

A stemless species native to South Africa's grassland area of Mpumalanga, presents a striking appearance with a single rosette standing up to 3 feet tall. Its robust stature is complemented by long, relatively broad silvery blue-green leaves adorned with reddish teeth along the margins. Sun-loving and slow-growing, it takes 5-10 years to reach flowering maturity. During summer, this aloe produces cylindrical racemes of dark red to orange-red flowers
