The Agave bracteosa var. Mateo is upright growing to about 2 feet tall and wide with solitary rosettes. The spineless leaves take on a beautiful light green to green color with a pale band running down the center. A great drought tolerant choice for gardens with a coastal influence. This is one of the few safe agaves for pets and children.
